Can an Online Tarot Reading Really Work? (The Honest Answer)

It's one of the most common questions I get, usually from people who are curious about booking but haven't quite convinced themselves yet: "Can a tarot reading really work over Zoom? Doesn't the reader need to be in the same room as me?"
It's a fair question. And the honest answer is: not only can online tarot readings work — for many people, they work better.
Here's why.
Energy Doesn't Have a Postcode
The fundamental basis of intuitive tarot reading is energy. When I tune into a client's reading, I'm connecting with their energy — the emotional, spiritual, and life-force energy they carry with them. And energy doesn't have physical boundaries.
Think about it this way: have you ever thought about someone you haven't spoken to in months, and then had them call you that same day? Or felt strongly that a loved one was upset before they said a word? That's energy moving across distance. It happens constantly, whether we're conscious of it or not.
When I do an online reading, I'm doing exactly the same thing I'd do in person — connecting with your energy, tuning into what the cards are showing me about your situation, and channelling the messages that come through. The fact that we're on a screen rather than a table doesn't change any of that.
Some of My Most Powerful Readings Have Been Online
I want to be real with you: some of the most accurate, deeply resonant readings I've ever given have been for clients I've never met in person — clients interstate, in other states, some even overseas.
Distance doesn't dilute the connection. If anything, the intentionality that comes from both people showing up specifically for a reading — setting aside time, creating space, coming with an open mind — often creates a particularly clear channel.

Recording. All my Zoom sessions are recorded so you can revisit your reading whenever you want — in a week, in a month, when something I mentioned starts to unfold. That's something an in-person reading can't always offer.
What to Expect From an Online Reading With Me
My online sessions run via Zoom and are available at times that suit your schedule. Here's how it works:
Once you book, you'll receive a confirmation with your Zoom link. At your appointment time, you join the call and we begin. I'll ask if you have a specific focus area or if you'd prefer a general reading, then I'll shuffle and lay the cards while tuning into your energy.
From there, the reading unfolds organically. I'll share what I'm seeing and feeling from the cards and your energy, you're welcome to ask questions or redirect the focus at any point, and we'll close with a summary of the key messages and any guidance for moving forward.
The whole session is recorded so you have it to keep.
A Note on Scepticism
If you're coming to your first online reading with some scepticism — that's completely fine. You don't need to believe anything in advance. What matters is that you come with an open mind and a genuine desire for clarity.
I've had clients who came in as complete non-believers and walked away shaking their heads at how specific and accurate the reading was. I've also had clients who came in with deep spiritual conviction and found their reading affirmed what they already knew.
